Event Schedule: November 24th and 25th, 2026

02:00 PM Meeting Point & Registration: Assemble at Go Wholesale @ Central Airport Plaza to board the bus/van. Shuttles will depart for the Amazing Lanna Sky Lantern Festival 2026 at Nong Sariam, San Pa Tong, Chiang Mai (Approximate travel time: 1 hour).

03:00 PM Arrival at the festival venue. Check-in and register (for guests traveling via agent vans) to receive souvenirs.

03:00 PM – 05:00 PM Pre-Event Activities:

• Enjoy various DIY activities: Krathong making, traditional candle lighting (Phang Pratheep), and Lanna flag making (Tung).

• Watch cultural performances, including traditional Lanna dances by local tribes and youth groups.

• 04:00 PM (Approx. 30-45 mins): Special shows including a canoe parade, water float procession, and local youth boat racing.

• Explore and shop for local products, food, and souvenirs from the Nong Sariam community.

05:00 PM Buffet Dinner: Savor a variety of local Lanna dishes and international cuisine.

06:00 PM Lantern & Krathong Distribution:

• VIP & STANDARD: Receive 1 Krathong each.

• STANDARD: Receive 3 Sky Lanterns (1 bag).

• VIP: 5 Sky Lanterns (1 bag) will be pre-placed at your reserved seats.

07:30 PM Main Ceremony:

• Gather at the main activity stage for the grand procession and beautiful performances.

• Participate in the religious ceremony and the Mass Lantern Release together.

• Grand fireworks display and closing remarks.

09:30 PM Departure from the festival and safe return trip.

The differences between VIP and STD :
1. The number of lanterns.
2. There is a separate food zone.
3. VIP members have seats to watch the show and release lanterns, while STD members stand around the perimeter.
